Picture Choice

Image-based single or multiple selection with optional hints and an Other option

The Picture choice element (labeled Picture Choice in the form builder) shows respondents a grid of options defined by an image, label, and optional hint per option. Respondents tap one or more images depending on your settings.

When to use

  • Visual preference tests, product concepts, logos, or mood boards
  • When images communicate choices faster than text alone

Customization options

Required fieldAt least one selection required when enabled.
OptionsUp to 30 options. For each: image (asset picker), internal value, label, optional hint. Reorder via drag handle.
Allow multiple selectionsWhen on, respondents can pick more than one image.
Supersize imagesLarger image presentation in the form.
Show labelsToggle visibility of option labels under images.
Randomize option orderShuffle options per session.
Allow OtherAdds an “Other” path with configurable placeholder text for free-text follow-up (translations supported).
Next button label, Show question title, Text alignment, SlugStandard question chrome.

Selections appear with your other choice-type questions in Response Summary.
