Assets Library
Manage images, videos, and logos used while building and styling feedback forms
The Assets Library is the project's reusable media collection for building and styling feedback forms. It stores the images, videos, and logo files that your team selects in the form builder and Appearance settings. Uploaded files are served through the Encatch CDN.
Keeping these files in one project-level library makes it easier to reuse approved brand and content assets across multiple forms without uploading the same file each time.
How assets are used in forms
Assets from the library can be selected while building a form for uses such as:
- Form logos — Choose light and dark logo images in Appearance → Theme → Logo and control their placement and size.
- Section layouts — Add images or videos to the layout of form sections and reuse the same media across several sections or forms.
- Question media — Add supporting images or videos to a question.
- Picture choices — Use library images as the selectable options in a picture-choice question.
Logos are stored as image assets; they do not use a separate file type or library. The same uploaded image can be reused wherever the form builder accepts a compatible image.
The Assets Library is scoped to the current project. It supports consistent form appearance and content, but adding an asset to the library does not place it in a form automatically—you select it from the relevant form-builder or Appearance control.
Where to find it
- Open your project in the encatch dashboard.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Feedback Settings, select Assets Library.
The actions shown on this page depend on your content-library permissions.
Upload an image or video
- Select Upload.
- Choose a file or drag it into the upload area.
- Add optional alternative text and comma-separated tags.

- Complete the upload.
Supported uploads include:

Browse and manage assets
- Switch between grid and list views.
- Select an asset to preview it.
- Edit an image when the edit action is available.

Before deleting an asset, confirm that it is no longer used by a form logo, question, picture choice, or section layout.
Permissions
Viewing, uploading, updating, and deleting assets are separate permissions. If an action is missing, ask a project administrator for the corresponding content-library access.
